A couple who lives in the Pittsburgh area will usually meet with me briefly (45 minutes or so), at no cost, to simply get acquainted, discuss process and fees, and determine whether we’re a good match. Out-of-town couples and I can get acquainted during a no-cost phone or Skype consultation or when they’re visiting the Pittsburgh area.
Once the couple and I have agreed to collaborate, we sign a letter of agreement to reserve the date. When I receive the signed agreement and a 50% deposit, we will schedule two future sessions (or, in the case of out-of-town couples, one longer meeting to be arranged during in-town visits).
We will use a typical non-denominational order of service as our springboard for creativity. I will get to know you well so that your wedding truly reflects your unique bond and beliefs. Plus, I will send you an extensive wedding planning resource book I’ve complied with vows, ring exchange words, rituals, readings, music suggestions, tips, and special touches to use, as desired, in crafting your ceremony. At the rehearsal, we will smooth out any last minute details. Throughout the entire process, I will be available by phone and email as a listening ear, resource, and guide.
